Indications and Contraindications
for MRI studies
You cannot have a MRI scan if you have any of
the following:
- A pacemaker
- Aneurysm clips in the brain
- Inner ear Implants
- Metal fragments in eyes
- Implanted spinal cord stimulator
There are other conditions which may be contraindicated
to having an MRI performed, such as pregnancy and/or the presence
of other types of metal in your body.
